Moto of this work : To inspire people to new ways of looking atSouth India’s cultural traditions and their connections to the present and to the future.

What we can see it at DakshinaChitra ? We can see Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh house architecture. Again this will be categorized under region, religion, community, etc. Example Hindu House, Christian house, Muslim house, Merchants house, Agricultures house, Weaver’s house, Potter’s house, Basketweaver’s mud house, etc. Yes offocurse we can see small art gallery and craft bazaar also.

How much time required to see complete DakshinaChitra ?  It’s required 2-4 hrs to visit complete place. But its depends on the people and how deeper you want to see the architecture.
